Here’s our latest bi-weekly progress update. Over the past two weeks, we focused on tightening stability, smoothing everyday interactions, and finishing another round of small refinements across firmware, system UX, and production consistency as we continue preparing for larger-scale shipping.

Improved Signal Robustness and Compatibility

We completed another optimization pass focused on edge-case interference and connection stability, including improvements that help compatibility with certain IoT peripherals.

System Sound Effects Polish

We completed another pass on system sound effects and are validating final audio tuning for consistency during daily use.

Boot Reliability Improvements

We addressed a rare scenario where a device could get stuck mid-boot under specific conditions. The fix is queued for the next firmware release.

Structural Fit and Durability Improvements

We completed process updates to reduce variation in a support component and improve long-term shape stability.

System & UI Improvements

Regional Setup Experience Improvements

We refined language and time zone handling to make setup and daily use more consistent across regions.

Lock Screen Controls Expanded

Lock screen behavior and settings have been refined, including an optional PIN workflow for users who want it.

Keyboard Experience Improvements

We improved the input experience and added an additional keypad-style layout option for certain use cases.

Voice Input Usability Improvements

The optional manual voice controls have been refined to support both quick-tap and press-and-hold interaction styles, depending on preference.

Better Time Awareness in Conversations

We improved date and time awareness so time-based requests and reminders behave more consistently.

Visual Rendering Polish

We continued optimizing the rendering framework for more dimensional lighting and a stronger sense of depth.

Faster, Smoother OTA Updates

We optimized the OTA process so updates complete more quickly and reliably.

CODE27 UI Visual Direction Progress

We have designed an updated visual identity for the UI and have made progress in updating the dark/light mode interfaces.

Improved Visual Experience

We added better lighting and shadow stereoscopic effects, including 3D effects for characters and clothing, optimized animation frame rate, and made animations smoother.
