Software Progress 🛠️

Our software team has delivered improvements across the device experience over the past two weeks.

Improved Codie Animation Matching ✨

Codies' personalities are now better reflected in how they move and react during conversations. Personality and behavioral settings translate more naturally into expressive animations and gestures during interactions.

Voice Selection Previews🔉

Improved voice selection experience by adding ability to preview voices for TTS.

Continuous Voice Mode🗣️

Added continuous voice mode for hands-free conversation. Push-to-talk remains an option.

We are aware of issues and investigating. Thank you to the community for always reporting bugs.

Model Upload Experience 📁

We've improved the model upload process through the device's local network interface, making it easier and more reliable to get your custom character models onto your CODE27 from your PC.

microSD Card Backup 💾

You can now back up your Codies' data and settings to the microSD card slot on your device.

Improved CODE27 Interface 🖥️

We have made further progress on an updated visual style for the CODE27 interface. The new design brings a warmer, more polished look and feel. The character settings web interface has also been redesigned to match this new visual direction.

Stability and Bug Fixes 🔧

We've resolved a number of issues and made improvements across the experience:

• Resolved a freeze that could occur during certain software updates
• Fixed a pairing issue when uploading models through the web interface
• Fixed an issue where uploaded custom 3D models could be lost after a power cycle
• Fixed a display issue on the character settings page after refreshing
• Improved the clarity of on-screen error messages
• Improved scrolling behavior on the conversation history page
• Fixed navigation and selection highlighting inconsistencies across several
• interface screens
• Improved noise-cancellation performance
• Fixed uploading of large file size character models over network transfer
• Fixed OTA update bar jumping/skipping erratically during update process
• Fixed initial setup issues
• Fixed UI text issues

Content Progress 🎨

Our art team is working on additional original Codies that will come included with your CODE27. Character designs and 3D models are nearing completion and are now in the final polish stage.

Shipping Timeline Update 📦

Our next production batch has been delayed. An extended holiday period at our manufacturing partner's facility resulted in a longer shutdown than we planned for, and preparation for the next batch resumed later than expected. As a result, the batch we originally targeted for March will now be shipping in April.

This shift will also affect the schedule for subsequent batches.

Production Timeline📆

Current: Total 100+ units shipped, next batch production in-progress
April: 500 units targeted
May: 1,200 units targeted
May-June: Pink units
Mid-2026: Goal to complete all Kickstarter fulfillment

Pink Edition Update 🩷

With the latest schedule shift, our current estimate for pink units is May-June delivery due to the small quantity and focus on ramping production of black and white units. We will let you know if anything changes regarding these timelines.
